1. Sponsor

The 2Cents Presents: The Launch Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by 2Cents and its co-founders (“Sponsor”).

 

This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, Kickstarter, SweepWidget, or any other third-party platform.

2. Eligibility

Open to individuals 18 years of age or older

Must be a legal resident of the United States

The following individuals are not eligible to participate or win:

• Carrie Novakowski

• Damian Jonathan Sanchez

 

No other individuals are excluded on the basis of employment, family relationship, or household association.

 

All other individuals are eligible unless prohibited by law. Void where prohibited.

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time.

3. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

Making a pledge or donation on Kickstarter does not increase chances of winning

Donations are not required for entry and only help cash prize grow.

Donations do not constitute entries

This Sweepstakes is a promotional sweepstakes, not a lottery or raffle.

 

4. Sweepstakes Duration

The Sweepstakes will run for ninety (90) consecutive days, beginning on the date publicly announced by Sponsor and ending at 11:59 PM (local time of Sponsor) on the final day.

Sponsor reserves the right to adjust start or end dates if required to maintain fairness or compliance.

 

5. How to Enter & Qualify

Minimum Entry Requirement (to qualify)

To receive one (1) qualifying entry into the Sweepstakes, participants must complete all of the following free actions:

1. Visit the official 2Cents Kickstarter campaign page (a Kickstarter account/login may be required by Kickstarter), and

2. Follow at least one (1) official 2Cents social media account, and

3. On that platform, locate the official Sweepstakes contest post (pinned to the top), then:

-Like the post

-Comment “I put in my 2 cents”

-Share the post to a public story or page

-Completion of the above constitutes one (1) valid entry.

 

Additional Entries (Optional)

Participants may earn additional bonus entries through the following free actions:

+1 additional entry for each additional official 2Cents social media account followed with completion of the same contest post actions (like, comment, share)

+5 bonus entries for visiting the official 2Cents website and signing up for the weekly newsletter

+10 bonus entries for completing all listed objectives and correctly answering three (3) short questions about 2Cents

Following more than one social platform is not required to enter, but increases total entries.

 

Entry Restrictions

All entries must be submitted using valid, verifiable information

Use of bots, scripts, automation, fake accounts, multiple identities, or fraudulent methods will result in disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to remove entries that do not comply with these rules

 

6. Kickstarter Campaign Relationship

This Sweepstakes is associated with a Kickstarter campaign expected to run for approximately forty-five (45) days during the Sweepstakes period.

Kickstarter pledges do not constitute entries

Kickstarter funding totals are used only to determine prize milestone levels

Prize milestones are evaluated based on the publicly displayed funding total at the conclusion of the Sweepstakes

 

7. Prize Structure & Milestone Scaling

Prizes are milestone-based and depend on the highest Kickstarter funding milestone reached before the Sweepstakes end date.

Prize tiers may include:

2Cents branded merchandise

Cash prizes

One (1) escalating grand prize that may scale up to $100,000

Only one (1) grand prize winner will be selected.

Prizes are not cumulative unless explicitly stated.

Sponsor reserves the right to cap, adjust, or proportionally scale prizes if required for compliance or fairness.

 

8. Winner Selection

Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries

Selection will occur within seven (7) days of the Sweepstakes end date

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received

Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.

 

9. Winner Notification & Verification

Winners will be contacted using the information provided during entry

Winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours

Sponsor may require identity and eligibility verification

Failure to respond or verify may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.

 

10. Prize Delivery

Cash prizes will be delivered electronically via a secure payment method (e.g., PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or equivalent)

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and reporting obligations

 

11. Disqualification

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

Violates these Terms & Conditions

Attempts to manipulate entries or outcomes

Engages in deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent behavior

Provides false or misleading information

 

12. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor from any claims, damages, or liability arising from participation, prize acceptance, or use of any prize.

 

13. Privacy

Information collected will be used solely for:

Sweepstakes administration

Winner notification

2Cents communications and updates

Data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties.

 

14. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if events beyond its control compromise fairness, integrity, or compliance.

 

Sponsor also reserves the right to interpret and enforce these Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion.

15. Governing Law

This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
